Comprehensive Global - Flex Shadow in Studio

This course will shadow another course at a different location live over Zoom. Students will follow the course in-studio with access to all equipment. Students will interact with Faculty over Zoom via monitor and camera.

The Comprehensive Global Program includes the Mat Program, providing a thorough and complete education in Pilates covering the full range of Pilates equipment, including Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ped-a-pul, Ladder Barrel, Step Barrel, and various other auxiliary apparatus.

This program is taught using our new Flex format consisting of eight days (modules) both in-studio and online, featuring self-paced lectures. In-studio modules include discussions, exercise analysis, and practice, while online lectures cover theoretical video presentations.

More than simply a program of study, the Comprehensive Global Program is an enduring foundation for a career in Pilates. This college-level teacher training program provides students with knowledge of Pilates theory, exercises, and teaching skills on all Pilates equipment.

When you complete BASI’s Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training, you will have graduated from the most rigorous, exciting, and positively life-changing Pilates teacher training in the business. You may test for a BASI Pilates Comprehensive teaching certification and you will qualify to take the National Pilates Certification Program exam.

To receive a BASI Comprehensive Certificate, students must complete the Comprehensive Program along with 500 student hours: self-practice (200 hours), observation (100 hours), practice teaching (200 hours), pass the mid-term and final written exams, and submit a Student Paper. Additionally, there is an in-person teaching assessment and practical examination.

Refunds

BASI offers limited refunds for students who cancel prior to or during the Program. A $500.00 sum payable upon submission of your Enrollment Application is comprised of a $100.00 fee for processing your application (“Administration Fee”) and a $400.00 deposit (the “Deposit”).

If BASI does not accept your Application or if you cancel thirty (30) or more days prior to the start of the first module, we shall, as soon as possible, refund all monies paid by you to us other than the Administration Fee.

Your enrollment into a program is a deciding factor as to whether the program would run as scheduled. Therefore if you cancel fewer than thirty (30) days prior to the start of the first module, then within thirty (30) days of receiving your cancellation request, we will refund all monies paid by you to us other than the Initial Deposit (including the Administration Fee).

We shall not be obligated to refund any monies if you cancel at any time following commencement of the first module of any program (whether or not you attend that or any other module).

We reserve the right to cancel any program. If a program is cancelled and a replacement is not offered, we will refund all monies paid by you to us.

Transfers

In the event of your cancellation as described above, BASI will allow you to transfer any monies paid by you for the cancelled program to any other BASI program for which you qualify, so long as such program is scheduled to commence within one (1) year of your Application to the cancelled program. In the event that you fail to transfer as stated, BASI shall have no obligation to refund any monies paid by you to us, regardless of when you cancelled or requested a transfer.

Please note: Our Refund Policy pertains to each Program for which you enroll and is stated in full in the Enrollment Agreement. In the event of any discrepancy between our website and the Enrollment Agreement, the Enrollment Agreement shall prevail.

Testing fees and Auditing fees are non refundable and non-transferable.

All fees and refunds are in U.S. dollars (USD).

Remaining tuition is due 14 business days before the start of the program.

Discounts:

• $1,000 ProBridge discount for Pilates Professionals with a Comprehensive Teacher Training certificate from another education program. Verification required.
• BASI Refresher Discount! Audit the entire course for $2,500. Prior completion of this program is required in order to audit.

To receive any applicable discount, please contact BASI after enrolling in the program(s). A credit will be applied to your course tuition.

* Hard copies of the books may be purchased on the BASI Store. You must be enrolled with completed tuition payments to receive passwords to order hard-copy books.
