What kind of training do BASI Pilates Faculty have?

The process to become BASI Pilates Faculty is long and rigorous. Each faculty member must have at least five years of experience teaching the BASI Pilates approach, plus assist several BASI Pilates teacher training programs before they may become faculty. Each faculty member is exceptionally skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and embodies the BASI spirit.

How do I become BASI Pilates Faculty?

The first step to becoming BASI Pilates Faculty is completing the BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Program. What is a BASI Pilates Host Studio?

BASI Pilates Host Studios are an integral part of the BASI Family and are the centers for BASI Pilates education. They host BASI Pilates teacher training programs, as well as advanced and continuing education courses. Some host studios are owned by BASI Pilates Faculty. Students in our teacher training programs may use host studios to work on their student hours and receive support during their program.

What does it cost to become a BASI Pilates Host Studio?

There is no cost to become a BASI Pilates Host Studio. Eligible host studios may receive compensation for successfully hosting BASI Pilates teacher training programs or continuing education courses. Please fill our application form.

What are the benefits to becoming a BASI Pilates Host Studio?

BASI Pilates Host Studios are part of an international and family-like network of BASI Pilates enthusiasts and professionals. Host Studios receive their own page on our website and are listed in our online Host Studio Directory. Host Studio owners receive discounts on our merchandise, are invited to our exclusive Host, Faculty, and Licensee Summit, and receive one complimentary registration for their first BASI Pilates program. In addition, Host Studios receive financial compensation for hosting our education programs, adding to their studio’s revenue stream.

How do I become a BASI Pilates Host Studio?

There are certain requirements studios must meet in order to be eligible to host our education programs. At a minimum, they must be large enough to host at least 8 students, contain at least one of each apparatus taught in our teacher training programs, and commit to hosting at least one teacher training program per year. What is a BASI Pilates Affiliate Studio?

BASI Affiliate Studios have at least one BASI Graduate teaching sessions there. They may host our advanced and continuing education programs, but do not host our teacher training programs. Affiliate studios act as educational hubs for students in our programs to go to for support and to work on their student hours. They are especially helpful if a student does not live near a BASI Pilates Host Studio.

What does it cost to become a BASI Pilates Affiliate Studio?

There is no cost to become a BASI Pilates Affiliate Studio. Eligible Affiliate Studios may receive compensation for successfully hosting BASI Pilates workshops or certificate courses. Please email [email protected] for more details.

BASI Pilates Licensees operate as “mini-BASI Headquarters” in their respective license territories. They manage the education schedule, host studios, students, finances, and testing schedule in their region.

How do I become a BASI Pilates Licensee?

Becoming a BASI Pilates Licensee can be a lengthy process. Typically BASI Pilates Licensees start out as BASI Pilates Host Studio owners. After running several teacher training programs and making efforts to successfully grow the BASI footprint in their region, it is then assessed if a Host Studio owner is on track to becoming a BASI Pilates Licensee.
