BASI HQ is an effervescent environment!

Along with practicing and teaching the highest level of Pilates, there are always deeper provoking conversations going on behind the scenes with Rael and his team. These dynamic interactions infiltrate every aspect of BASI life. This is the heart and soul of BASI.

Important topics like equality, diversity, inclusion, minority groups, gay rights, racial injustice and black lives matter, our environment, and what this all means to BASI, to our community and our world, are continually being discussed. Herein the genesis of Conversations in Commonalities.

Rael and the BASI team take these topics, and present them to our community, in a safe, non-combative forum. Here we can all come together and talk openly and authentically about these topics. This is constructive dialogue at its best.

Conversations in Commonality far exceeds the parameters of Pilates. It is open to EVERYONE, not only Pilates enthusiasts. It is relevant across all walks of life and professions. Stella and Rael offer tools to take home, to use, and to further your own research and development.

In this safe container, we come together to embrace each other, in our differences, and in our similarities. All opinions are welcomed and respected. No one need fear being right or wrong, accepted or unaccepted. This is a meeting ground, a stirring-pot of thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

Come to hear, to listen, and to find a common ground of understanding and compassion.
