I’m Nikoletta from Greece, currently living in Zürich which is my fifth adapted city since 2009 that I left from Greece.

Although my studies have been focused on the travel and tourism industry, I have worked in many different areas. I can’t really say that I loved all my workplaces. What I can say is that I’ve been always dedicated and professional to what I did.

But all these years, in all these jobs, something was missing. It took me a while to figure out that I was not passionate about what I was doing.
And one day I felt that it was time to find out my passion and turn it into a job that I won’t change again in a couple of years.

It wasn’t hard to find it. I’ve just had to ask myself what is your passion, Nikoletta? First answer: Traveling. Second one: Pilates. Nice! And what if I could combine these two passions?

I was lucky enough to have some Greek friends who have already been BASI graduates and amazing teachers. They strongly recommended starting BASI CTTC. I started with MTTC in Switzerland and continued with CTTC in Greece and Germany.

Although I started my CTTC in a difficult period, due to COVID-19, I had to stop and restart my training. I had to change countries. But I always felt that through online classes and meetings with BASI instructors around the world, I was not alone. They all helped me to continue my BASI education. Thank you so much for that!
I have been teaching BASI mat classes for two years now, and I’ve just started teaching equipment classes here in Zürich.

I have never been so happy, grateful, and fully aware of what it is to be focused on a goal. And the ultimate goal is to strive for my and other people’s well-being.
What a wonderful feeling to get up every morning and do what you love. And what’s even more exciting is that from the time I may wake up in another country, but it doesn’t really matter, cause BASI will be somewhere near, and we all speak the BASI language.
