Thank You Message from Rael Isacowitz
My Dear BASI Friends,
Our very special day – the Grand Opening of BASI Pilates Academy & Studio and the BASI Headquarters – was in a word - AMAZING! Around 200 people came through during the day to partake in the activities: mat classes, private and semi-private introductory sessions, facials, chiropractic treatments, raffles, sponsored snacks and a grand party in the evening.
I loved teaching my mat class. It was a lot of fun filled with 40 eager, fit and excited participants (what more could I ask for?). The other classes looked equally as fun and intense. I want to thank Andrea Smith and Jen Pearlstein for teaching the classes.
Our vendors and sponsors were fantastic. A huge THANK YOU to each one of them for their support, their generosity and their great products. I want to give each of them a special shout out:

None of this could have been possible without the incredible volunteers. You know who you are, and I love you all. You did an amazing job! This also includes the BASI admin team that give of themselves 100% each and every day. The 2 event organizers, Tram Thai (day event) and Kristen Stevenson (evening event), deserve very special mention. Since the success of this event I have given serious thought to expanding BASI’s services to event planning. Thoughts?
Most of all thank you to all of YOU that helped make our day so very special.
As I mentioned in a prior letter, although we were celebrating our new building, the true impact of the day went far beyond the building alone. It was the love, positive energy and unity that was abundant. The underlying message throughout the day and evening was that we are a community, one that spans the world. We are a family that welcomes – with wide open arms – all people! With representation in over 35 countries, BASI is a rainbow of cultures, religions, genders, creeds, colors, backgrounds – in a phrase we are “one for all, and all for one”.
