The Certificate of Excellence is more than an exam—it’s a statement of commitment to the highest standards of BASI. Conducted in person by Rael Isacowitz, this rigorous 3-hour assessment is a unique opportunity to receive personal mentorship, sharpen your teaching skills, and expand your depth of understanding.

Whether you’re working toward a leadership role or striving for personal excellence, this experience is designed to challenge, elevate, and transform your teaching.

🔴 Structure of the In-Person Assessment

Teaching – 1 Hour

Participants will teach a session to a student (provided by BASI HQ)

Emphasis on clarity, precision, cueing, integrating the BASI Principles, and connection with the student

Practical – 6 Exercises

2 Mat Exercises

4 Apparatus Exercises (all the apparatus including the F2*)

Focus on setup, performance, precision, breath pattern, and flow

* Flex students exempt from F2

This is for students that have completed the Comprehensive program.

BASI Students are eligible to sign up for Certificate of Excellence Testing following completion of all course requirements:

• Attending all modules

• Score of 70% or higher on the online written exams

• Completion or near completion of observation, self practice, and student teaching hours
