Bio

Joleen Watson has been a Pilates Instructor for the past 13 years.  Originally from Las Vegas, she and her husband discovered Pilates when, as  Principle Dancers, they needed to deal with recurring dance injuries.

The couple settled in Australia in 1991. Joleen did her teacher training with Rael in 1997–1998, during one of his regular visits to the sub-continent. She subsequently opened her first Studio Pilates in Queensland.

Since joining the BASI Faculty  in 2008, Joleen has taught both Mat and Comprehensive courses in China, Indonesia and Singapore, as well as in her Queensland studio.  The studio enjoys the benefits of other BASI-accredited instructors, who share the compassion, sincerity and knowledge of the proven BASI method.
