Bio

After Kathryn had taken Pilates classes for a few months she was amazed to find that she wore her body differently.  She began to dedicate more and more time to Pilates and finally decided to leave her job in finance to become a certified Pilates instructor.  Kathryn received her certification from Marie-Jose Blom-Lawrence at Long Beach Dance Conditioning in 2004.  After teaching Pilates in Sunset Beach, California for two years Kathryn and Marilyn opened Viva Pilates Studio in 2006.

To better serve her clients Kathryn regularly attends continuing education classes.  Her interest in chronic pain management inspired her to work with the Viva Pilates Studio staff to develop a continuing education workshop on Fibromyalgia.
