Comprehensive ProBridge Program

BASI Pilates® Professional Bridging Program (ProBridge) program makes it possible for qualified Pilates professionals to benefit from the many advantages of studying the BASI Pilates system.

We know it may not always be possible for working professionals to devote the time and funds necessary to undertake another full-length Pilates teacher training program. Therefore, BASI is proud to offer a program designed specifically for them!

BASI's ProBridge Program is an intense specialized program for the qualified* Pilates professional interested in experiencing the depth, intensity and precision that only BASI provides. ProBridge is the perfect program to acquire a BASI education and to ultimately join the BASI professional network. Our program credits the experience of the qualifying Pilates professional for previous Pilates education, study, and work. Focus is placed on the principles and methodologies that represent the key differences between BASI and other teaching methods.

The ProBridge Program is an ideal vehicle to bridge one's previous qualifications with BASI Pilates. It is also a springboard to the Ulimate Pilates Mentor Program.

In order to receive a BASI Pilates Teaching Credential, ProBridge students must complete both programs (ProBridge Foundation and ProBridge Comprehensive), pass the Comprehensive Written Examaination and pass the Practical Examination and the Teaching Evaluation at a Centralized Testing Location.

The Practical Exam and Teaching Evaluation is facilitated by BASI founder, Rael Isacowitz and/or Director of Education, Constance Holder. Please Click Here for testing locations, dates, fees and testing procedures. Those who choose not to go through the testing process will receive a Letter of Attendance, upon request. Centralized Testing does not apply to programs outside the US.

We also welcome students who have completed the BASI Comprehensive Apparatus Program to join and experience an intense review of the work they did previously. Clarification and nuances of movement allows BASI graduates or current Comprehensive students to revisit the original material, without the stress, by honing their existing skills. Graduates and current Comprehensive students, please contact BASI Academy for more information about Auditing the ProBridge Program.

The ProBridge Programs have been approved for 36 CECs by the PMA. Must attend both programs (6 days) to receive CECs. Must attend the Foundation ProBridge Program prior to the Comprehensive ProBridge Program.

Download the BASI brochure to learn more about our educational programs to find which is the right one for you!

BASI Pilates has long been regarded as the pinnacle of education in the method by Pilates professionals worldwide. While many programs have fashioned their education after the BASI model, none have met or surpassed the standard set by BASI’s founder and CEO, Rael Isacowitz.

Rael's passion for excellence and love of Pilates has shaped the past, present and now the future of the method. ProBridge bridges the gap between where you are today and where you could be in the future!

"I was first attracted to the program after I realized that all my favorite Pilates classes were taught by BASI-qualified Pilates instructors. I have multiple certifications and BASI has given me by far the most value."—Kaita Lepore, Santa Barbara Athletic Club
