The Pilates Method offers a unique and invaluable mode of training for men. Pilates is often thought not to be suited for men. The reasons for this are many and varied and include: Pilates being practiced predominantly by women, the way Pilates has been portrayed by the media, the fact that Pilates is very popular among dancers to the point that Pilates is often perceived as ONLY for dancers, and most Pilates teachers are female. Yet, there are few fitness regimens that are as well suited for men as Pilates.
